Senior Marketing Data Engineer and Automation Architect

We are currently assisting them in hiring a Senior Marketing Data Engineer and Automation Architect to strengthen their marketing data infrastructure and workflow automation.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will design and implement scalable, efficient, and automated data solutions to enable advanced marketing analytics. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and marketing teams to support machine learning workflows, optimize data processes, and drive automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
– Develop and automate ETL/ELT pipelines for marketing data needs
– Prepare, clean, and structure datasets for machine learning workflows
– Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments
– Optimize data storage, retrieval, and transformation processes for scale and speed
– Utilize AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, SageMaker) to manage data workflows
– Build and maintain Power BI Data Flows for seamless reporting and analytics
– Implement automated testing and monitoring frameworks for data quality assurance
– Drive intelligent automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
– Collaborate across organizational teams with a solution-oriented mindset
– Seek out and propose innovative approaches to support business transformation and marketing effectiveness

Requirements
– Required Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
– Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related area
– Expertise in Python and SQL for data processing and workflow automation
– Strong background in machine learning engineering, including model deployment and monitoring
– Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker)
– Experience building pipelines with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect
– Skilled in Power BI for building data visualizations and reports
– Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
– Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently
– Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
– Experience with marketing analytics and direct marketing datasets
– Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry
– Advanced proficiency with Power BI DAX language
– Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
– Knowledge of statistical methods such as non-parametric statistics, resampling techniques, or Bayesian inference
– Experience with sequential testing or multi-armed bandit experiments for marketing optimization
