Axiom Pro is a leading US-based recruiting and outstaffing company. We are currently seeking a Mobile Developer (Java & Kotlin) to join a long-term project for one of our trusted clients in the restaurant industry.
The client is developing a comprehensive POS system for restaurants, including an admin interface for placing and managing orders, sending them to the kitchen, processing payments, and managing table reservations. While the web application is already under development, we are now starting the mobile application from scratch, and your role will be crucial in building it.
Responsibilities
– Develop a mobile application (Android) in Java & Kotlin based on an existing web-based POS system
– Collaborate closely with the backend and frontend web development teams to ensure seamless integration
– Implement user interfaces according to provided design specifications
– Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the app
– Participate in regular communication with the client in English (calls, messages)
– Provide clear, well-documented, and maintainable code
Requirements
– 3+ years of proven experience developing mobile applications in Java and Kotlin
– Experience building applications from scratch
– Solid understanding of REST APIs and mobile UI/UX standards
– Ability to work independently and take ownership of the mobile development process
– Good English communication skills – mandatory, as the client is English-speaking
– Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
