Data Analyst – Big Data & Business Insights

Axiom specializes in providing outstaffing and recruitment services for the IT, Back Office, Support, and Market Research industries. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
– Gather, clean, and analyze complex data to understand business results and trends.
– Develop technical solutions using Big Data to meet evolving departmental and business needs.
– Build frameworks and prototypes that integrate Big Data and advanced analytics to improve business decision-making.
– Monitor and evaluate Property initiatives against key performance indicators, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
– Independently design and develop high-complexity operational reports for Property operations.
– Create advanced, interactive dashboards using BI tools to translate data into meaningful insights.
– Propose and implement innovative reporting and visualization techniques to improve efficiency and business processes.
– Communicate complex data insights to teams and present findings to senior leadership.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards.

Requirements
– Advanced knowledge of data reporting and visualization tools, techniques, and best practices.
– Expertise in data management processes, including data flow, mapping, and integration of multiple data sources (relational, unstructured, etc.).
– Proven experience working with Big Data, relational, unstructured, hierarchical, and graph data types.
– Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and R (experience with other data-driven languages is a plus).
– Skilled in developing, managing, and manipulating large, complex datasets.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Solid understanding of insurance concepts and operations, particularly Property Claims.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations.
– Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
