Currently, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of QA Engineer and join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our partner, a company that focuses on molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, and biotechnology to improve patient outcomes. Our partner operates a certified clinical laboratory that specializes in automated DNA-based molecular analysis of chronic and infectious diseases. In addition, the company is involved in research, drug screening, clinical trials, and academic collaborations to develop complex genetic tests and pre-clinical treatments. The project is a laboratory test company that stores and processes data of its tests in the system.
Responsibilities
– Understanding requirements for new features or change requests including their database updates
– Helping developers debug and explaining correct workflow whenever needed
– Testing as per requirements and other related scenarios
– Creating/understanding SQL queries to create or get test data
– Creating test cases document for assigned tasks
– Doing share screen demo on group call whenever needed e.g. new feature demo
Requirements
– Certificates in Quality Assurance would be a plus (ISTQB, etc.)
– Previous experience in Quality Assurance or a similar field
– Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts related to Quality Assurance
– Working experience in Agile methodologies and teams
– Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or analogs
– Excellent data collection and analysis skills
– Strong attention to details
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
– Experience with SQL for creating and understanding queries
– Knowledge of back-end technologies; experience in back-end development is a plus
