We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to a range of web application projects. These include an HR platform (Applicant Tracking System), a Point of Sale (POS) system for the restaurant industry, a task management application, our internal candidate/employee management system, and other initiatives. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly products.
Responsibilities
– Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications (primarily web) across multiple projects.
– Understand requirements for new features and change requests; validate acceptance criteria and real-world scenarios.
– Create, maintain, and improve test documentation (test cases, checklists, test results).
– Log and track bugs, reproduce issues, and verify fixes using QA/project tools.
– Support the team by helping formulate and structure tasks (clarify steps, expected results, edge cases, etc.).
– Collaborate closely with developers, PM, and BA to debug issues and clarify workflows.
– Participate in demos / screen-sharing sessions to review and validate new functionality.
– Communicate with customer-side QA/testers in English; help onboard them into the project context, coordinate feedback, deliver structured input back to the development team.
– On internal projects, take on project coordination / PM functions, such as aligning priorities and next steps with stakeholders, tracking progress and blockers, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and moving forward.
Requirements
– Proven experience in Quality Assurance (manual testing) or a similar role.
– Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
– Experience testing web applications, including on mobile devices/browsers.
– Strong skills in test documentation and structured bug reporting.
– Experience with Agile workflows and tools like JIRA / Confluence / Asana (or similar).
– Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
– Good spoken and written English (you’ll communicate with customer-side testers).
– Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
– Experience with QA Automation (currently on hold, but valuable for the future).
– Basic understanding of back-end technologies (backend development experience is a plus).
– QA certifications (ISTQB or similar).
