We are looking for a QA Lead (Hands-On) / Release Manager to join our team and collaborate with our partner — an international biotechnology group.
For over twenty-five years, our partner has been a pioneer in innovative testing solutions and cutting-edge technology in molecular and genetic testing, pathology, pharmacogenomics, and personalized diagnostics. They provide clinically effective testing not offered by other laboratories, with a strong focus on improving patient care and developing tailored clinical solutions.
Responsibilities
– Lead and coordinate all testing activities (functional, regression, integration, automated)
– Develop and maintain QA strategy, test plans, and checklists
– Oversee release readiness and manage release cycles end to end
– Configure CI/CD pipelines and coordinate with development and operations teams
– Build, mentor, and support the QA team, review test cases, and distribute workload
– Analyze defects and provide quality and risk reports to stakeholders
– Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure smooth release management
Requirements
– 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA with at least 1 year in a Lead or Release Manager role
– Strong manual testing experience and solid automation skills (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
– Ability to build QA processes from scratch and manage testing activities across multiple teams
– Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control (Git)
– Familiarity with release planning, versioning, and deployment coordination
– Good English for cross-functional communication with a distributed team
– Experience leading release management for large-scale or high-load products (nice to have)
– Knowledge of Docker (for test environments) (nice to have)
– Experience with performance or security testing (nice to have)
