Axiom Pro, in partnership with our client, is seeking a Salesforce Portal Solutions Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, user-centric portals on Salesforce Experience Cloud. Unlike typical project-based roles, this position is permanently aligned to building and maintaining secure, scalable, and visually appealing online experiences for customers and partners. You will work closely with designers, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into working solutions, serving as a technical authority on Salesforce Experience Cloud and related integrations.
Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud portals and community sites
– Create Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components to improve user experience and performance
– Integrate Salesforce Experience Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external systems
– Configure branding, layouts, and navigation to align with business needs
– Collaborate with architects, UX designers, and business analysts to implement scalable solutions
– Lead code reviews, enforce Salesforce development standards, and ensure code quality
– Maintain security, data integrity, and accessibility compliance
– Optimize performance across devices and browsers
– Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
– Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and emerging best practices
– Provide off-hours support for critical releases or incidents when necessary
Requirements
– 3+ years of Salesforce development, including 1–2 years focused on Experience Cloud
– Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce
– Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design
– Proficiency in Apex and declarative Salesforce development
– Experience integrating Salesforce with REST/SOAP APIs
– Familiarity with Salesforce security, profiles, and permission sets
– Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required)
– Experience Cloud Consultant certification (preferred)
– Experience integrating CMS or third-party content platforms a plus
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, design systems (SLDS, Bootstrap, Material UI), and Figma desirable
– Background in UX or design thinking a plus
